This client had a commercial and residential arm of their business and wanted to differentiate between the two businesses. Olympus Construction is the commercial side and focuses mostly on commercial buildings within the Wasatch Mountain area.
We wanted to have depth and dimension to the logo so leading lines were used to bring the three towers out as if coming towards the viewer. These lines allowed us to use a simple overall shape of a diamond for the icon portion of the logo with the buildings standing in front of the mountains. A reflection was used below the building to give the buildings more height, however, any good logo needs to also work in solid black and white. This is especially important if you ever want to do cut window vinyl, foil stamping, or embroidery on shirts.
